How I Take My Coffee
Because I know this is a questions all of you have been asking yourselves.
The way I take my coffee is quite situational. Am I looking for a low calorie option? Am I on Whole 30? Am I in a mood? Is it the morning? Am I at the office? Am I DGAFing it? (If you don't know or can't figure out what DGAF is, Google it.)
Well, here are the _ ways I take my coffee:
1. The Low Calorie Way
This will be a pretty easy way to take coffee. It's not hard at all.
Brew your coffee.
Pour it into your preferred cup.
Try to enjoy.
Just kidding y'all! I use the serving size of any flavored coffee creamer. But the above is still an option if you don't have a heart...I guess.
2. The Whole 30 Way
Coffee is huge for me, and Whole 30 is huge for me. When I do Whole 30, I put a little more effort in my coffee, and drinking it is quite enjoyable and even filling at times. For those of you who do not know what Whole 30 is, or what it's about, check it out here: https://whole30.com/.
While on Whole 30, I make a latte of sorts. If I am at my office, I will use the espresso maker. I don't have fancy stuff like that at home, so I use my little coffee pot.
Here is what you will need for the latte:
Brewed beans of choice
Collagen peptides (I get mine on Amazon)
Whole 30 approved almond milk or creamer (I use Nutpods for creamer)
Handheld milk frother (found here)
Directions:
Mix peptides into your coffee until it dissolves.
In a separate cup, froth your milk of choice.
Add in froth, and enjoy your latte.
In time, you might be able to do some latte art!
3. The DGAF Coffee
This really is a thing, guys! On days I just don't care, I go all out. This can also be called the "All The Things Coffee." This coffee will taste fancy, but is in no way complicated.
Here's what you need:
Coffee
Caramel Sauce
Milk or Milk substitute
Frother
Sea Salt
Here's what you do:
Brew your coffee.
While it's brewing, prep your cup by lightly drizzling the caramel on the inside.
In a separate cup, froth your milk.
Pour your coffee into your cup, and add the frothed milk to it.
On top of the froth, drizzle that caramel. Bring out your inner barista.
The final touch: lightly salt that beverage.
Sit back and enjoy that fancy drink.
There you have it! There are three ways I take my coffee.
